Nothing on this site can be bought yet, so these terms cover the website itself. The product terms below are published in advance as a commitment, and become binding when checkout opens.
1. Status of this site
This website is published by Unattended Works. It describes products that are in development. No product offered on this site is currently available for purchase. Nothing here constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract is formed by reading it.
2. Use of this site
The site is provided as-is for information. You may read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not represent its contents as your own work or as an endorsement of anything.
3. Accuracy and forward-looking statements
Product descriptions on this site describe intended behaviour of software that is not yet released. They are stated as specification, not as a guarantee of a delivery date. Where a page says a product or a stage is not built, that statement is current as of the date shown on the launch log.
Unattended Works makes no claims on this site about customers, results, usage, performance, awards, or certifications, because it has none.
4. Intellectual property
The content, layouts, code, brand marks, and documentation published in this repository and on this site are the property of Unattended Works and are proprietary. See the LICENSE file in the repository. No licence to reuse the source, the brand marks, or the product specifications is granted by publication.
5. Product terms, published in advance
The following will apply to the Automated Website Evidence Audit when it opens, and are published now so they can be read before there is any pressure to buy.
Authorisation. You may only submit a URL for a site you own or are authorised to have audited. Submitting a third party’s site without authority is a breach of these terms and of the law in many places.
Scope. The audit examines the routes reachable from the entry URL within the published crawl budget. Scope, exclusions, and anything not reached are recorded in the report.
Boundaries. The runner does not authenticate, does not submit forms, does not make state-changing requests, does not load-test, and does not probe for vulnerabilities. The full list is published on the product page and is part of these terms.
Not a security assessment. An evidence audit is not a penetration test, a vulnerability assessment, or a security certification, and must not be represented as one.
Not a conformance statement. Automated accessibility checking covers a minority of WCAG 2.1 criteria. No report issues an accessibility conformance claim, and a report must not be quoted as one.
Deliverable. A report consisting of a static HTML document and a JSON document. Findings are derived from recorded artifacts and each references the artifact behind it.
Failed runs. If a run cannot produce a verifiable report, it is refunded. It is not delivered with caveats.
Ownership of output. Reports belong to the buyer. Unattended Works does not aggregate, benchmark, resell, publish, or use audit output as case-study or training material.
Limitation of liability. A report describes observations. Decisions taken in response to it are yours. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability arising from a product is limited to the amount paid for it.
6. Governing terms
These terms will be restated in full, with governing-law and jurisdiction details, before any product accepts payment. That restatement will be recorded in the launch log.
7. Changes
This page is versioned in the repository that builds this site. Its history is the change log.
